STUDSAT-2 (Student Satellite Research Programme-2)

Studsat-2 is a India’s first twin satellite mission which aims to demonstrate inter satellite communication.
NCET of E&C Department is a part of the program since August-2010 along with six institutes with NMIT as Coordinating Institute which provides facilities.
The cost of the project is about 1.60 crores shared by participating institutes.
Ten project modules completed by NCET (E&C) students under STUDSAT-II.
Mr. Vinay G, Mr. Srivathsa , Mr. Girish, Prof. H. Venkatesh Kumar presented a paper titled “ Design of on board communication system for the nano Satellite” , STUDSAT-2A/2B which was held at IAC-2013 Beijing, China-2013
.Ms Likitha, Mr.Abhishek & Mr.Vishwanath exhibited a Project entitled “Establishment of Communication Link for STUDSAT-2 Satellite” in National students Projects exhibition-2016 organized by the Alpha College of engineering, Bengaluru, in association with AICTE, New Delhi, held on 14th may 2016 and secured 3rd prize
